Machine alignment uses survey instruments to place and check production equipment on a plant grid. Work is typically inside a factory, to tight tolerances set by the client’s mechanical team.

What this assignment typically includes

  • Plant grid recovery or establishment
  • Centreline and datum marks for machines
  • Checks during and after installation
  • Coordinate and level records for the client

The Sanand assignment for Wipro Pari / Tata Motors is listed as a featured machine-alignment case study.
